Susan Rich, CPA, the founder of LIFMS, brings a combination of management experience and fiscal expertise to our accounting firm. Her extensive 25+ years of work history spans the not-for-profit, healthcare, social services, government and international sectors. She has held positions as CFO at many organizations including a large LI surgical group/ambulatory surgical facility, a NYS Public Authority, a major NYC foster care agency operating a SED funded school for medically frail children, an international medical clinical research foundation, and a for-profit international B-to-B internet trading exchange. Susan is the former Treasurer for NIFA and has taught Auditing, Financial Analysis, Government and NFP accounting at SUNY Old Westbury.

Heather Bassler-Turk, Manager-Financial Consulting and Advisory Services
Heather has worked with LIFMS since 2010 and graduated from Dowling College with a B.A in Accounting. Heather is currently enrolled at SUNY Polytechnic Institute to obtain a Master's Degree in Accounting. She is a CPA candidate who has begun taking the exam as she gains industry experience. She has audited government entities including a large NYS public authority, a large publicly funded hospital and NYS Housing and Community Renewal. She also has significant experience working with not for profit organizations. Heather has worked as an accountant in the public sector for seven years and has excellent analytical, reconciliation and computer skills. She is known for her strong work ethic and sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills and mature demeanor.

Inna Reznik, CPA, MBA Quality Control Reviewer and Senior Government Technical Consultant
Inna is our firm EQCR- Quality Control Reviewer and Senior Government Technical Consultant. Inna is a Certified Public Accountant with over fifteen years in Public Accounting, nine of which she worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where as a senior audit and assurance manager, Inna directly supervised audits of various local governments, municipal corporations and public authorities. Inna managed the City of New York audit with a budget of approximately $50 billion dollars, as well as five of New York City pension plan systems, with billions of dollars in investments. Inna was also a senior audit manager for the County of Nassau as well as various Nassau County authorities and affiliated local corporations. Inna is currently VP of Finance for a large publicly funded college with over a $200 million dollar budget, and serves as the LIFMS Engagement Quality Control Reviewer (EQCR) on attest engagements, and a technical consultant for many LIFMS governmental clients. Inna is a current member of the AICPA and GFOA. Inna is also bilingual, speaking both Russian and English.
Jessica Velez, Senior Bookkeeper
Jessica earned an Associates Degree in Business Management from Berkeley College in 2007 and has both a non-profit and small business bookkeeping background. Jessica has strong accounts payable, receivable, reconciliation and analytic skills. She is sharp, smart and detail oriented, has strong computer and technology skills and is highly regarded by both her clients and peers. Jessica is also bilingual speaking both Spanish and English. She is a Certified Quickbooks Proadvisor.
C'Angelio Banton, Semi-Senior Accountant
C'Angelio graduated in 2013 from SUNY College at Old Westbury with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Prior to graduating C’Angelio was an active Finance and Accounting Society member. He is known for his strong work ethic, computer expertise and good organization skills. He is an experienced government auditor, teaming with many of our firm partners on large and complex assignments. C’Angelio maintains financial records and transactions for firm clients with a high degree of accuracy and always goes the extra mile for them. He is a NYSSCPA member and a CPA candidate. Lisa Kunz, CPA, Manager-Assurance and Attest Services
Lisa is a dedicated senior accounting professional with over 25 years of experience. Her most recent position was as Controller and Compliance Officer of a private family trust company (single family office) and its UK subsidiary for 8 years where she was responsible for managing the accounting and operations functions including staff development, liaising with external auditors and counterparties as well as the accounting and compliance functions for its UK subsidiary. Lisa was formerly a Senior Manager in the assurance practice of McGladrey LLP (Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP – predecessor entity) providing services to clients in the financial services industry and the not-for-profit sector. She began her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where she is currently a member of the Family Office Committee as well as having been a member on other committees over her career. She is a cum laude graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York and holds a B.B.A. in Accountancy.
Sidrah Kudia, Staff Accountant
Sidrah graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury in December 2016, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She was at the top of her class, on the Dean’s list, and worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Information Systems Department and also tutored other students in accounting subjects. Sidrah was active in the SUNY Old Westbury Accounting Society and the Muslim Student Association. She has held prior accounting positions at both a CPA and a bookkeeping firm, has four years of Quickbooks experience and strong computer skills. She hopes to pursue a Master’s degree in forensic accounting as she prepares for licensure as a CPA. Sidrah is bilingual and speaks English, Hindi and Urdu.
Haris graduated in 2014 Cum Laude from SUNY Old Westbury with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. He has worked for a private company as a junior accountant as well as other small CPA firms. Since joining LIFMS he has gained auditing experience at both public sector and non-profit clients. Haris is a CPA candidate and currently attending SUNY Old Westbury to obtain a Master’s Degree in Taxation and has strong computer skills. He is bilingual and speaks both English and Urdu.

Amanda Crimarco, Junior Accountant
Amanda graduated in May 2017 Cum Laude from Rider University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Accountancy from Rider and preparing for the CPA exam. She has interned in the Accounting department of a private company whose specialty is Intraoperative Neuromonitoring where she gained significant experience using QuickBooks and in basic bookkeeping. Amanda was a Division 1 athlete which has fostered her strong work ethic, team approach and time management skills. She is also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an international honors organization for accounting.
